We're In Miami

We were picked up at our home early this morning in a 10-passenger limousine, which was provided by Crystal. The driver arrived a few minutes ahead of the scheduled pickup time of 6:30 AM, which was perfectly fine with us. The vehicle easily accommodated the two of us along with all of our luggage with even some room to spare. Just think, if we would have known then we could have taken even more luggage with us. Just kidding! :-)

After arriving at the airport and checking in for our flight we went over to the Admiral’s Club until it was time to board the plane. They actually began boarding the plane earlier than normal.

As part of the Word Cruise, Crystal provides first class seats for the domestic flight and business class for our return flight. So, we had a comfortable flight to Miami. We arrived at Miami International Airport a few minutes ahead of schedule.

After departing our plane and walking what seemed forever, we finally reached the baggage claim area where two representatives from Crystal greeted us. They helped us with our luggage and brought us outside where another 10-passenger limousine was waiting for us. Crystal also provided this transportation. We were then taken to the Four Seasons Miami Beach Hotel.

The Hotel is wonderful and is located just a block from the bay. After getting settled we walked around the area including walking near the bay. Tomorrow, we plan to see more of Miami. The weather is terrific and now we understand why those who live in Southern Florida prefer to stay here this time of the year in order to not miss any of these wonderful days.

We are happy to be in Miami, part of the sunshine state, and excited about starting our World Cruise adventure.

Hello Keith and Ann-Marie. Welcome to south Florida. Yes, you are right. We really don't like to leave here at this time of year -- 80+ degrees, sunshine, etc. We look forward to seeing you at the Four Seasons Hotel on Tuesday.
